Short answer. A standard 60 by 30 ft box cricket ground with 35 mm hybrid turf, a full Garware net enclosure, LED lights and a proper base costs ₹9 to ₹15 lakh. Multi-box arenas are quoted per box with shared posts and lighting, which brings the per-box figure down.

Worked example.
1,800 sq ft box, average land, full enclosure and lights
| Turf and sand dressing | ₹1.5 lakh |
| Base at ₹100 | ₹1.8 lakh |
| Net enclosure, 6 m, roof net | ₹3.5 lakh |
| LED lights | ₹2.0 lakh |
| Kerb, gate, sundries | ₹0.8 lakh |
| All-in | ₹9.6 lakh |
A box on soft land with taller nets and more light reaches ₹15 lakh. Two boxes side by side share the middle posts and a lighting circuit and cost about 1.7 times one.
What it earns.
₹600 to ₹1,200 an hour depending on the city, with six to eight paid hours a day at an established box because cricket books earlier in the evening than football and runs later. On a ₹10 lakh build at ₹800 an hour and six hours a day, revenue is about ₹1.4 lakh a month and payback lands inside a year. Add football slots on the same surface and the number improves. The operating maths is in the turf business guide.

Questions, asked often.
What size is a box cricket ground?
60 by 30 feet is the common standard; 70 by 35 and 80 by 40 for bigger formats. Net height 6 m on the sides with a roof net.
Why not 50 mm football turf?
Rubber infill kills the bounce. The 35 mm sand-dressed hybrid gives a true cricket bounce and still plays football.
Can it go on a rooftop?
Yes, with a structural check for the net posts and a permeable underlay. Rooftop boxes are common in Mumbai and Thane.
