Both are engineered for synthetic-turf seaming. Which one we specify depends on the surface, the climate window on site, and availability, tell us the project and we will confirm the adhesive, pack sizes and quantities.

02 · Seaming tape
Seaming tape is the backbone of the joint, the adhesive is spread onto it, not onto the base. We stock three weights; heavier tape carries heavier seam loads. Tell us the surface and the traffic and we will specify the right one with your quotation.
For lighter seam loads, landscape grass joints and low-traffic areas.
The workhorse weight for sports-turf seams on most installations.
Extra carrying strength for high-load seams and hard-worked grounds.
Turf edges are butted, folded back, and the seaming tape is centred under the joint line.
Adhesive is spread evenly across the tape with a notched trowel, onto the tape, never the base.
Both edges are laid into the wet adhesive, pressed and weighted while the bond cures.
03 · Infill & sand
Infilled turf systems are ballasted with silica sand and cushioned with rubber granules brushed into the pile. Quantities come straight off your area and system, both are computed with every ILAN quotation.
Performance infill
Black rubber crumb infill for football and multi-sport turf, the cushioning layer that gives an infilled system its bite and ball behaviour.
Coloured EPDM granules for surfacing are a separate product, see the EPDM range.
Ballast & dressing
Rounded-grain silica sand that ballasts the carpet, keeps fibres upright and forms the base layer beneath rubber infill on sports systems.
