One 35 mm carpet for box cricket and football. Cricket-first bounce from a straight sand-dressed pile, football-ready cushion from the curl layer underneath.
Most turf picks a side. Football systems bury the ball’s bounce in rubber; cricket mats punish a sliding tackle. The hybrid construction refuses the trade.
Same 35 mm hybrid construction, same dual-tone finish, same sand dressing, the difference is how much yarn is packed into every tuft.
7,300 dtex · 6 straight + 8 curl
The value pick for societies, schools and starter arenas, the full hybrid construction at an accessible weight.
9,300 dtex · 8 straight + 8 curl
The heavy-duty pick for commercial arenas, thicker yarn and more straight strands per tuft for longer life under daily bookings.

A surface is only as good as what it sits on. ILAN now builds the base as part of the project, so one team owns levels, drainage, tolerances and the surface on top. Layer thicknesses are finalised after our site survey and soil check.
Cut to formation level, proof-rolled, graded to the designed falls (0.5–1%) so water leaves the field, never pools on it.
Granular sub-base (GSB) 150–200 mm and wet-mix macadam (WMM) 100–150 mm, compacted in layers and tested for density.
Dense asphalt 40–50 mm or PCC, laid to a 3 mm over 3 m flatness tolerance, with shock pad where the system calls for it.
Perimeter drains, catch pits and kerbing, so the surface stays dry and the edges hold for years.
