What moves the price.
- Dtex. The weight of 10,000 m of yarn. 12,000 to 18,000 across the range. Heavier yarn, more material, more resilience, more money.
- Density and stitch rate. Stitches per 10 cm and tufts per sq m. Higher density holds infill better and wears slower.
- Backing. Latex is standard; PU is more stable in heat and damp and costs more.
- Certification. FIFA Quality Pro systems carry the lab cost and sit at the top of the band.
- Colour. Dual-colour yarn is standard on sports turf. Single-colour is a landscape product wearing a sports label.
Per roll and installed.
Rolls are 4 m wide and 25 m long as standard, 100 sq m or about 1,076 sq ft, so a 14K roll is roughly ₹73,000 to ₹82,000. Installed with infill and base the playing surface is ₹150 to ₹250 per sq ft; all-in with fencing and lights, ₹200 to ₹380. The calculator does the arithmetic for your size.

Dtex, density, backing and certification. Ask for the data sheet; if a supplier cannot show dtex and stitch rate, the price means nothing.
Is 50 mm the right pile height?
For infill football turf, yes; it is the FIFA-standard range. 40 mm suits hybrid and multi-sport; 30 mm non-infill suits rooftops.
Does the price include GST?
No. Add 18 percent to material and installation.
