Two systems, one geometry. A 400 m track is 176.9 by 92.5 metres with eight 1.22 m lanes, whatever it is surfaced with. The choice is between a spray-coat system, a 10 mm SBR base with a 3 mm EPDM wear layer, and a full polyurethane system for competition venues. We build both on an asphalt base laid to tolerance.

School tracks and short loops.
Not every campus has space for a full oval. We build 200 m tracks, straight 100 m sprint lanes and jogging loops around existing grounds in the same EPDM systems. Colours: terracotta and blue as standard. Lay out yours with the Track Designer; specification on the running track page.

Spray coat or full PU?
Spray coat for schools, universities and training. Full PU for competition venues and stadiums. Both are IAAF-recognised system types; the difference is durability under spikes and the finish.
How long does a track take?
Eight to twelve weeks for a full oval, most of it base and asphalt. The rubber layers themselves take two to three weeks of dry weather.
