A rubber-free, sand-only monofilament-and-curl football turf at 30 mm, clean to install and maintain, with a stable, consistent surface for multi-sport and community pitches.

Blue is available to order in the same 13,000 dtex / 17,850 density / 17-10 stitch construction. Shade shown is indicative, request a sample for the exact colour.

Monofilament plus curl. Straight PE monofilament blades stand tall while curled fibres between them hold the pile up and lock in a light sand dressing, so the surface stays upright and true without any rubber fill.
13,000 dtex of yarn weight at 17,850 stitches/m² gives a dense, resilient carpet that recovers under repeated stud impact. The dual-tone pile is held by light sand only, no rubber granules.
PU secondary backing at a 2,434 g/m² total weight locks the tufts (≥40 N withdrawal force) and drains at ≥180 mm/h, built for monsoon-season play.
The 30 mm non-infill build runs sand-only and rubber-free, a 17-stitch, 17,850/m² carpet that stays stable, even and low-maintenance for multipurpose and community pitches.
Commercial pay-and-play boxes where daily footfall needs a resilient, true-rolling surface that looks the part.
Multi-session practice grounds that need a dependable pitch for training loads without any rubber infill to buy or top up.
Recreational and community football where a FIFA-grade look and 5–6 year life beats a cheaper, short-lived carpet.
Manufacturer-backed warranty against defects in materials and UV degradation, supplied through ILAN as authorised Bellinturf dealer.
Typical playable life under normal football use with occasional sand top-up and grooming.
≥180 mm/h permeability keeps the pitch playable through monsoon downpours with minimal standing water.
Installed Non-Infill 30 projects and close-ups.
Full manufacturer data sheet for Non-Infill 30 30 mm non-infill (Bellinturf), tested to FIFA methods, as supplied to ILAN. Tolerances per the relevant FIFA / ISO test methods.
Bellinturf reserves the right to alter specifications to improve the system per the latest standards. Values are nominal manufacturer data.
30 mm non-infill at 17,850 density, sand-only, no rubber crumb. Dense short pile that supports play without loose infill migrating.
13,000 dtex at 17,850 density per m².
5 yr written warranty · 7–8 yr typical service life.
Rooftop pitches, podium decks, small-sided courts, and anywhere infill loading or migration is a problem.
Full-size 11-a-side competition, infill systems give the ball-roll and shock absorption that requires.
Non-infill systems, sand-only, rubber-free builds.

ILAN supplies and installs. The base stages below matter more to the finished pitch than the turf stages do.
Site survey and levels
We survey the plot, check falls, drainage and loading. On rooftops and podiums the structural check matters as much as the levels.
Base preparation
Over concrete or podium decks the surface is cleaned and falls verified. On ground level, compacted aggregate laid to fall.
Shockpad (where specified)
Non-infill systems often carry a shockpad to provide the cushioning that rubber infill would otherwise give. Confirmed against intended use.
Rolling out and acclimatising
Rolls set out with pile direction planned across the whole area, then left to relax before cutting.
Jointing
Seams joined on jointing tape with adhesive, pile matched across each joint.
Line marking
Lines inlaid as turf rather than painted, so they wear with the surface.
Sand ballast
Silica sand only, no rubber crumb. Enough to stabilise the carpet without loading the structure.
Final brush and handover
Power-brushed to lift the pile and settle the sand, then inspected and handed over with a maintenance brief.
A routine, not a budget. Done monthly it adds years; skipped, it costs them.
Sweep or blow debris off the surface. On rooftops keep drainage outlets clear.
Brush the pile upright, concentrating on the most-played areas.
Check sand ballast levels and top up where it has migrated. Inspect seams and perimeter fixings.
Deep-clean and a full seam, edge and line-marking inspection.
Dtex is the weight of the yarn, how much material sits in each fibre. Non-Infill 30 mm runs 13,000 dtex. Heavier fibre resists splitting and folding for longer under traffic, which is the main driver of service life. It is not the only factor: density, backing and maintenance all matter.
This system carries a 5 yr written warranty and a typical service life of 7–8 yr. Real-world life depends heavily on playing hours, sun exposure, base quality and whether the pitch is brushed and topped up. An unmaintained pitch will not reach the lower end of that range.
Warranty is what is covered in writing (5 yr here). Service life is how long the surface realistically performs before it needs replacing (7–8 yr here). The gap between the two is normal across the industry, we quote both rather than only the flattering number.
Three reasons: weight, migration and maintenance. No rubber crumb means far less load on a roof or podium slab, nothing to migrate into drains or get carried indoors, and no infill top-ups. The trade-off is ball behaviour, infill systems give the roll and shock absorption competitive 11-a-side football expects.
Yes, silica sand ballast, but no rubber crumb. The sand stabilises the carpet without meaningfully loading the structure.
Yes. The non-infill system is specified and supplied for full-size competition football as well as rooftop, podium and small-sided installations. The dense low-pile construction supports play without loose rubber crumb, which is why it is chosen where infill weight, migration or maintenance is a constraint.
Often yes, if the base is sound, level and drains. If it ponds, cracks or moves, laying over it transfers the problem upward. We check the base at survey and tell you honestly which case you are in.
A correctly based and drained pitch sheds water and is playable soon after rain stops. Standing water is nearly always a base or falls problem rather than a turf problem.
